Job Title: Weekend Counselor

Location: Marlboro, New Jersey

Job Type: Part-Time

Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Weekend Counselor to provide support to individuals in need of counseling services during the weekends. The Weekend Counselor will work closely with clients to assess their needs, develop treatment plans, and provide counseling and therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions with clients
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on clients’ needs
- Assist clients in setting and achieving goals related to their mental health
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals and community resources to ensure continuity of care
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- Certified or licensed counselor preferred
- Previous experience working in a mental health or counseling setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of counseling techniques and treatment modalities
- Familiarity with ethics and laws related to counseling practices

Schedule:
This position is part-time, working on weekends (Saturday and Sunday). The Weekend Counselor will be expected to work a minimum of 16 hours per weekend.
