Position: Alumni Coordinator

Summary:

The alumni Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining programs and services that engage, connect, and support the alumni community of Discovery Institute. This role involves fostering relationships with alumni, organizing events, and providing resources to support their ongoing engagement with the organization.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive alumni relations program that includes events, communications, and networking opportunities
- Coordinate alumni events, including reunions, networking nights, career development workshops, and other special events
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to create compelling content for alumni communications, including newsletters, social media, and website updates
- Serve as the primary point of contact for alumni inquiries and requests, providing timely and accurate information and support
- Maintain accurate alumni records and database information to ensure effective communication and engagement
- Work with the fundraising team to identify and cultivate alumni donors and supporters
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to support alumni engagement initiatives and organizational goals
- Conduct research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices in alumni relations and engagement

Qualifications:

- 2+ years of experience in alumni relations, fundraising, event planning, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, database management, and social media platforms
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working with diverse populations and communities
- Knowledge of best practices in alumni relations and engagement
